Silent March/Plaza Speakers and Performers:
Pastor Earl GlissonA native son of North Central Florida, Apostle Earl Glisson was born and raised in the Gainesville area, carrying with him the roots of a small-town upbringing and the spark of a greater calling. That calling came with divine clarity one morning in 1993, while he was living in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife, Marci. As he drove to work, praying as he often did, something extraordinary happened—a vivid vision appeared across the windshield of his pickup truck: a countless number of people gathered, with him standing before them, boldly preaching the Word of God.
The moment was undeniable. It stirred his spirit and marked a turning point in his life. After seeking confirmation in prayer and counsel with Marci, Apostle Earl said yes to God’s call that very year. What followed was a journey of faithful obedience and unwavering commitment. He served in nearly every area of ministry—children, youth, young adults—gaining insight, experience, and a deeper heart for people at every stage of life. In 1998, Apostle Earl followed the prompting of the Holy Spirit to attend Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. After graduating in 2000 from Rhema Bible Training College he served on staff at Word of Life Fellowship as Youth Pastors. In 2004, that journey led Apostle Earl and Marci to launch Anchor Faith Church in St. Augustine, Florida, where they continue to serve as Overseers. Anchor Faith Church was born from a bold, God-given vision: "Ignite the City, Impact the Nation, and Influence the World." This vision fuels every effort, as Apostle Earl leads with passion to see the Kingdom of God established in the earth. Apostle Earl remains closely connected to Rhema Ministries, now serving as the Regional Director for Florida and the Caribbean. As President of Faith Christian University, Apostle Earl is dedicated to Educate, Equip, and Empower the student body with a powerful curriculum designed to ground new believers and deepen the knowledge of all who seek to grow in biblical truth. Beyond education, he encourages every believer to discover their purpose and serve through ministry outreach, offering hands-on training to equip vision partners to impact their communities in meaningful ways. A fierce advocate for the next generation, Apostle Earl is especially dedicated to the spiritual and educational growth of children and young adults. Anchor Faith Church also operates a private Christian school, providing a safe and nurturing environment where academic excellence is infused with Godly values. His heart for global missions is equally strong. Under his leadership, Anchor Faith has planted churches in Managua, Nicaragua; New Delhi, India; and an upcoming launch in the Dominican Republic in 2026. The church also supports an orphanage in New Delhi and numerous ministries worldwide. Apostle Earl has ministered in nations across the globe, passionately spreading the message of Kingdom Living both internationally and locally. Through every assignment, Apostle Earl remains grounded in his love for the St. Augustine community and his greatest joy—spending time with Marci, their children, and grandchildren. His life is a testament to the power of a single "yes" to God—a yes that continues to echo through generations, communities, and nations. |
The Tri-County Gospel Chorale
The Tri-County Gospel Chorale was founded by Minister Ruth C. Simpson-Milton, a noted psalmist in the Tri-County area and beyond!!! She is fondly dubbed as the “funeral singer”! After recognizing and becoming aware of the deficit in “church choirs”, and the need for a choir specifically at funeral services and above all, hearing from God in her spirit, the Tri-County Gospel Chorale was birthed in December 2017.
This chorale represents nearly 20 churches throughout Putnam, St. Johns and Flagler Counties. The Tri-County Gospel Chorale is under the direction of the incomparable Mr. James Reed; Assistant Director- Elder Jarvis Wright, Sr., and Rev. Karl N. Flagg as the Spiritual Overseer. The Tri-County Gospel Chorale faithfully serves at multiple funerals on most Saturdays, and sometimes throughout the week. The Chorale has served well over 40 grieving families this year. This chorale also participates in community events in the tri-county area. God has certainly blessed this chorale to bless others; and for that we are truly grateful!
The Mission of the Tri-County Gospel Chorale is: To SERVE through the Ministry of song, to PROVIDE soothing balm to those who are grieving, to UPLIFT those who are downtrodden and to SHARE the joy of singing to anyone who crosses our path.
The chorale has a membership of about 40 members from St. Johns, Putnam, Flagler counties and most recently added a ministry from Volusia County, characterized by sacrifices - too many to number, yet matched by blessings - too numerous to count. During the past few years some of our members have experienced grief and bereavement through the loss of loved ones. We continue to keep them in prayers and pledge support for them.
At this time, we would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to the following Pastors for either graciously hosting our rehearsals at their sanctuaries, supporting the chorale members from their churches, or supporting in other ways:
Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, Rev. Karl N. Flagg, Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Anthony Q. Robinson, Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Herbert L. Johnson, Jr.
Bethlehem Baptist Church, Rev. Tommy Rodgers, Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, Revered Michael O. Robinson, The Lord’s Temple City of Refuge, Bishop Thomas Cave
Zion Temple Church of God in Christ, Elder Antonio Ruth, Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church, Rev. Anita M. Shepherd, New St. Paul Church, Elder Jarvis F. Wright, Sr.
